Pixar

Anyone watch COCO?

Pretty darn good! I liked it a lot. The animation is ridiculously good. The story is damn creative.

Can you believe that it has been 14 years since the first was released?

Coco was amazing, we took the granddaughter, as I'm wiping my eyes, kind of embarrassed, I look over and my wife is crying as well

This. The Incredibles stands far above all other Pixar movies.

+1. Can't wait for that one. Not Pixar but also looking forward to the TinTin sequel from Spielberg supposedly in production now.

my wife was crying big time!!

the animation is so over the top now. that close up on grandma COCO blew my mind. Incredibles was some storytelling!! i am curious which direction the drawing part is gonna go.

Also waiting for the Incredibles sequel (and wondering why it took so long).

Will probably end up renting Coco.

Pixar exhibit at our museum.

I think the opening scenes of Pixar's "Up" was some of the best storytelling in vignettes I've seen.

Brad Bird kept saying that he wouldn't make a sequel until he had a good story.

I have no reason to doubt him, but I've also heard that line from other directors or producers and they end up making a crap sequel when their funds get low or the offers get high enough. (Once again, not saying that is the case here.)

Coco was very well done. Good story and as usual the animation was fantastic.

Very much looking forward to Incredibles 2.

While not "Pixar", Wreck it Ralph 2, looks to be good as well.

Took this off my projection screen at home:

LOL I've got it on DVD and it's a little embarrassing when your grown kids catch you watching it by yourself

Lol. I like the original Toy Story too.
Remember flying somewhere warm and sunny shortly after my divorce, intoxicated and watching Toy Story laughing my ass off.
People sitting near me must have thought I was nuts.

my wife controlled the remote last night..so she rewatched COCO.

it is pretty awesome. i got to try to watch for the easter eggs hidden. i found some. super difficult.

the movie explains the Mexican culture to my wife..well, the day of the dead stuff. it was wonderful to see Mexican culture put center stage in a movie.
