Next step is to go out to a cheap 3 par course and play a round and see how I do.

Your game good enough to play a set of blades? 4 iron to boot...takes a good ball striker.!

Giant circle jerk. I can't believe anyone actually watches these things...

+1

I think I had two strokes in my entire life with a 2 iron that did not sting my hands.

The Liberals, Hollywood, and MSM just can't fathom why the other 49 states don't worship these inane awards shows like they do.

The only way to send a message is to stop the cash flow, as in stop watching movies. Not likely to happen.

I manage it...

But I'm also a content introvert that primarily just needs an exercise medium for inspiration and happiness in life.

I have a friend who is really into movies. He is very into speculating about who will win, and he sees all the movies when they come out. He even has a home theater set up, so he can have movie parties with his friends.
It doesn't mean a lot to me, but I have a few friends that will tell me to see certain movies, and I usually do.

I guess it takes a lot of ego to be an actor, but I know a lot of people who would never have made it through life without their ego. It is funny to hear them go on about other people and their egos. That movie with Michael Keaton was about ego and art. Birdman, I think it was. Good lord, did that make a splash at the Oscars.
Some here are not so different, all tied up in self identity. I can appreciate the people who can take a step back and look at themselves with the same critical eye they reserve for others. We are all Bozos on this bus.

what a waste of oxygen.

didn't watch any of the Hollywood "I love me" shows but now that those idiots get up and express their political views, they are even worse.

there are a few more actors that I refuse to give my money to now by going to see their movies.
if I were them, I would just keep my mouth shut because not everyone agrees with what they say. look, now Im fired up, where is the PARF site?

They should stick to the one thing they know...how to make those violent, pedophilloic, anti-American films (now that they have stopped casting couch interviews). Of course this time, instead of children or members of the same sex (now that straight men are taboo in Hollywood)...they celebrate a movie about a woman having sex with a fish. Is that beastiality or...just fish sticks? If that is the best film of the year...then that just shows how far Hollywood/the Oscars have fallen. We might as well have a bunch of low-information pro athletes talk down to us with their gutter language, 2nd grade sentence structure and childish viewpoints about politics and why they should not stand for the flag/national anthem...oh wait.

Wow! Some serious butthurt going on here. Need a tissue?

Jealousy will do that.;)

cairns 03-07-2018 10:11 AM

Jealousy? Are you seriously that stupid?

The reason fewer people watch this ka-ka year after year sure isn't jealousy. Most of us know Harvey Weinstein isn't "God" and that people who call him that not only don't have a clue they sure as sh it shouldn't be lecturing us about how to live our lives and what our values should be.

Quit the moral preening, cut the politics, give awards for genuinely superb work and people might watch again. But Kobe Bryant (he got an Oscar for that?) and Jimmy (I'm so dick-less I'm gonna cry) Kimmel aren't cutting it. The elitist BS (oh people with jet skis who like Lake Havasu are soooooo inferior to us.......) needs to go too.

These actors have devoted their lives to improving their trade.
If they want to spend one evening to awarding their work...why not?
If your job did the same...you would be proud.

it isn't just about their "trade", these idiots think I care what they say, well I guess I do, just not enough to listen to them or watch them. evidently I am not alone in not caring about them. they would be better served if they could keep their comments to their "trade".

No one cares if they want to spend an evening giving awards.

But they expect us to watch it while lecturing us, talking down to us, telling us what to believe or who to vote for and generally insulting our intelligence. Fewer and fewer of us are and they, like you, are too dumb to understand why.

That's the problem. It's dreck and we're turning it off.

You don't sell your product by insulting the customer. And for God's sake don't tell me Kobe Bryant got an Oscar for his acting abilities.

Thanks for the chuckle, this is most amusing.

Wait, you don't actually believe any of this, do you?
