Is it ok to pass wind in an airplane?
To continue with our theme today, what about lettin em rip on a flight?
I get gassy when I'm nervous and flying makes me nervous so naturally I need to let some things go when I fly. Thankfully I have the ability to let em rip softly like a unicorn puff but I don't have control over their scent. I try to take it easy on my diet a day or two before hand so as to limit the offensiveness of my puffs and that has worked well for me. So far. So do you let it go mid flight or hold it in? |
Get your butt in the restroom and fart there

The more the merrier!

I think generally the direction of the cabin air is from top to bottom so that any unpleasant smells are carried downwards?

If your sister does it it’s called...
(Wait for it) “Relative wind.” A little aviation humor (those here who fly should get it... hopefully) |
I'm wondering if you fart in the back of the plane can they smell it in first class or does the plane move to fast for the smell to make it up there?
|
simple answer, yes.
|
I fly every week and hate it when someone lays a SBD. Unless it was me.
|
Turbulence can kind of shake it out of a guy...

The solution, charcoal filtered underwear.

Sure. Just go to the bathroom and do it please. You think they don’t stink. Pro tip: they do.

Reminds me of one of my dad's jokes...
An old woman is in the doctors office complaining that she has huge volumes gas but it doesn't smell and you can't hear them. The doc listens carefully to her complaint and gives her a prescription and asks her to return after a week. The old gal comes in a week later very upset. "These pills are not working, now my wind smells like death. I can hardly stand it myself"! Doc says "Great, we have your sinuses freed up now let's work on your hearing". |
