South Africa trip

I'm in the planning stages...
Recommendations? Thinking Cape Town to J'burg and Kruger.

Rent a car? Baz Bus? Hotels?
Cage diving with sharks for sure.

Motion you've been right?

You might want to get this moved to OT (Off Topic).

Nice hike on top of Table Mountain...great views! Take the cable car up...

Also, take a day or two and tour the wineries due east of Capetown.... mmmm good!

Also, a couple of the great restaurants of Africa in and around Capetown.... Chef's Warehouse and Test Kitchen... Not cheap, but wonderful food!

The drive along the coast from Capetown to Queen Elizabeth is also fun...

JBurg is a little less safe at night, but wandered a bit on foot. Haven't been back in the last or 2.... since the politcal probs have things a little out of wack...

Cape Town, stay in camps bay. tons of restaurants along beach easy access to table top.
dinner at Pigalle a must, la colombe also good. vinyards in stellenboch great, rust en verde was favorite. Dinners are cheap, exchange rate very favorable when i went. prob better now.

i rented a car, started in cape town, drove garden route to gaansbai, nothing to do there except cage diving with great whites, 1 night enough

from there plettenburg bay, then j bay and then ended in kariega game reserve for 5 nights. drove to and flew out of port elizabeth.

skip johannsburg. trust me. PM me if you want details.
