Does the ice drift out of the harbor, or just melt?

It's a wonderful winter wonderland out here. Snow falling softly, expecting 6 inch accumulations before morning. Best guess is that we'll start to warm up next weekend. We're all fargin' tired of winter. Spring can't come soon enough.

Both I guess, mostly drifts out and when warm enough it's gone. Seems every year
some kid or kids would drift out on a larger floe and need recue from coast guard.

That would be the more adventurous kids, not me. Well hardly ever.

Currently snowing in NW Ohio. My son, and his girlfriend are testing out their new camping tent overnight in our back yard.....ready for some warmer weather too.
