Last time in Munich was September, 2017. I've been about 30x in the last 30 years. If you think the area around Munich Hbf isn't sketchy, I don't want to know what you call sketchy. The Hbf isn't totally surrounded by riff raff, but there's plenty of it there.

So Europe is not like what they show on the news?
Especially in Sweden where you can't go without police escort or risk being attacked!?

I wouldn't say that. Just depends on where you go. There are tons of towns in Germany no one outside of them has ever heard of where they have huge refugee populations. But you'll never see them because you'd never go to those towns. But in the major cities they have some sketchy areas just like most major cities in the US. I used to love Munich, but it really is nothing like it used to be. You'll see lots of ninja women in full burkas with men in matching sweatsuits, and those are usually the ones with money. Go to some of the sketchy neighborhoods and, while it may not be dangerous, it is not what you go to Germany to see. And go to some podunk town in the middle of nowhere, where the gov't. decided to resettle a bunch of totally unemployable refugees, and you'll see them loitering everywhere because, well, they don't have jobs.
