A friend visited the other day from Colorado. I worked with him on a few shows but he left the biz to make deerskin jackets and "Malibu Cowboy Boots". Google it, he makes a killing, Cher is his cheerleader.

He started in the biz as a musician teaching David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce and Susan Dey how to play well enough that they could pull it off on The Partridge Family.

The girls in the office loved his "Malibu Boots" and when I told them he had worked with David Cassidy, blank stare. "From The Partridge Family?". More blank stares. "We're not old like you!".

That's when I went with the blank stare.

I love watching oldies. Last night we watched a bunch of the early Carson Tonight shows. Makes you realize how good some of the old stuff is.

Streaming to a chromecast on my TV. Old shows, comedies, music concerts from Youtube . I highly recommend it.

Amen to that! Broadcast TV was actually entertaining before all the "politically correct" writing moved in.

Watched some All in the Family while on this retro jag yesterday. Carroll O'Conner was great. You could almost call him a social justice warrior of sorts. Archie's social justice.

Look at Miss Hathaway in 1st pic vs Ellie May. Shoulders forward, geek supreme. The antithesis of hot.

However, see 2nd pic. Uncle Bob would hit it. I'll bet Jethro did. You know Milburn Drysdale had to have.
