Warts....home remedy?

I haven't had a wart in decades....ever since I quit playing with frogs that piss on ya (the root cause ), but I've had one show up on upper side of my foot, 'bout an inch behind the little toe, that's starting to feel like a blister at times where it rubs against my boot. Just really figured out what was happening ...so it's gotta go. Do the Compound W/Dr Scholls liquids, gels, pads, or freezing products work? Is one better than other...or do I need to schedule a flight to see Dr. Toby? Thanks!

Make a paste using a vitamin C pill and put it on the wart. You can put a band-aid over the paste to keep it there. Refresh daily. It's not just my idea - this is a common home remedy listed on the web. Also.. Compound W works.

They do. I prefer the gel. Easy to use. It will take a couple weeks, but it works.

Simple... and it works... duct tape!

My wife first told me about this when she was in residency. Take a look!!!

My doctor carries a canister of liquid nitrogen with her. Apparently they are super common.

She blasted one off my hand. She said if they don’t bother you, you can leave them and they fall off. That true? I think she said that.

This stuff works. I've used it a couple times for hand warts and moles.
Made out of black walnut paste. Apply it for a few days and it starts an infection on the wart..the root and all will be expelled.

Stop letting toads piss on you. That's my advice!

Next advice would be to check under your bed and in you closet for the toad. Thing is clearly watering either your foot or your shoes.

I saw that when searching earlier....I figured it cured warts about as much as frogs caused them . Thanks!

I'll probably try the gel and slap a bandaid on it though...don't think the duct tape would work due to the location.

I had a few as a kid that just went away after a couple of years...if it didn't feel like a blister, and putting a hitch in my giddyup, I'd ignore it. The Dr. freezes are much colder than the Compound W....I've learned a lot about warts the past couple of hours!

Mebbe they WERE toads instead of frogs...live and learn

Do you want it gone NOW? This treatment is certainly not for everyone but I swear by it.....
Muriatic acid!

Dip a Qtip in this stuff...careful! It's highly corrosive!! Apply it to the wart, leave it on for about 10-20 seconds depending on the size and location....it'll sting a bit for sure..then immediately douse it in cold running water for 2-3 minutes. After about 5 minutes you'll be able to literally peal it off! GONE for good in only one treatment!

YMMV!

THIS. Absolutely works. I had a girlfriend in the past that worked for a plastic surgeon, and the duct tape was one of his remedies. He was from India and had all kinds of "healing" tricks that sent the girlfriend to the Indian grocery market quite often for the ingredients he used.

Ya big goober! Errbody knows toad piss causes warts... not frogs. Sheesh! talk about your backwoods

BTW it was Verrustat and it looks like it can be used for more than just plantar warts.

Most of my secondary education comes from this site...I'm still learnin'

Seems like Verrustat and CW et al, seem to have the same 17% Salicylic Acid....and I'm a cheap bastid

OK I went back and reread the duct tape method... just don't think that'll work for me....keeping the tape in place, dry, etc. inside my boots over an extended time ain't likely to happen...nor is Muriatic Acid

They were toads. The only way to get rid of a toad wart is to tie a dead toad to it for a week.

I hear you, Bro. They are just not listening.

Ohio "stereo" says no on toad piss and follow the other instructions.

I would go straight to Compound W. I have read a squillion times on duct tape success.

True story. When I was a teenager I had no less than twenty small warts on my right hand. I had a summer job and the rest of my family were heading on a three week vacation. Just before they left I showed them to my dad and he looked at my hand and just said I don’t see any warts what are you talking about.
At the time he just peaved me off with this comment as I was imbaresed by them being a teenager and all.
He said when I get back in three weeks show me your hand and he left.
Over the next three weeks I was buisy and forgot all about them and our conversation.
When he got back the first thing he said was let me see your hand and I looked at it and all the warts were gone.
