USB port stopped working.
 
The port at first did not recognize a plug-in with my camera card, then next morning, it did not respond to my mouse hardware and software.
Quick trip to Best Buy / Geeksquad - and a free fix.
The technician ran a program on my tablet that took some time - maybe four minutes, and all was restored. (The program displayed successive green bars running across the window, showing progress.)

Computer/tablet is Dell Venue running Win 10.

Can anyone direct me to what the tech did. I asked him, but he spoke in a tongue I am not familiar with - computer-ese.

Reinstalled drivers would be my guess.
