my coworker looks like he lost 50lbs in two days!
damn..i wish i took a picture. it is mindblowing, shocking..you can choose a word.
i posted about him before, with his memory slipping. 65 years old. btw; his memory still sucks. but he was having balance issues. about a month ago, i thought he was stroking out in the driver's seat.. i unclipped my seatbelt to get ready to slide onto his lap to guide his worktruck to safety. i didnt have to..he came to without knowing he slipped into some weird place. i kept telling him to call his doctor. well, is sister intervened and he finally listened and went to the doc,. anyways, the ER doc took one look and admitted him. acute kidney failure. he got a reboot, and his kidneys are working. he has been slowly retaining water, and now he isnt. man, he looks 50lbs lighter!! old guys and doctors..what's up? just go! now, i need his sister to tell him to visit his dentist. |
keep them sawbones away, hospitals are where people go to die!

Good thing you were there for him, that had to be hard for him to breathe/function, I know from experience. I had congestive heart failure many years ago (related to a chemo drug). I kept getting more tired, and out of breath, until I went to the doctors visit. He sent me directly to the E.R. I was administered a diuretic, and lost 17# of fluid that evening, basically 2 gallons of fluid around my internal organs (not necesarily urine).

That is one reason why people need to watch their salt intake as they grow older. It drives BP.
