too bad he didn't get 14 and break the record.

He hit the green every time but it must have been made of concrete. I once played a course near Santa Cruz a few days after a qualifying round was played there for the US Open. The greens were ridiculously fast. On one hole there was a three-tier sloping green. I could not get the ball to stay on the green. It just rolled off every time. I picked up and took a 10.

And is there ANY way possible they can dial back the 24/7 Tiger coverage? :rolleyes::rolleyes: Good god, the guy is outside the top 40 places and ... oops, he just shanked another one into the drink :D ... they still focus on his every move. Getting his ass handed to him again by the younger generation.

but he didn't pick up his ball and spit in the cup like the scumbag Garcia. The fact he is doing as well as he has been after the surgery is really something. Plus he is the best thing to happen to golf again this year. Golf isn't something the other players do to you, you do good or bad on your own, what they do doesn't affect your score, they can't block the hole like in pool or something.

I don't know if u heard this on the coverage today, but one of the guys said that at Augusta, if he placed the ball on the green on all 18 holes so the average golfer only needed to use his putter for the round, he would have a tough time breaking 90 :eek:

Obviously, a lot of fans and all of the TV announcers think so. I don't get it. For me, the last few years have been some of the best, most competitive golf ever. I want to see the focus on the best players, not on a former best player who is trying to make a come back from an injury, a scandal and old age. OK, show some highlights, but don't make it the freekin Tiger Woods show when he doesn't have a chance to win :cool:
