Big fan also. Have a Zappa channel on Spotify...and use it often. Except when wife and kids are with me (let’s just say, they’re not fans).

One of the greats and a testimony for yearly PSA test.
Have several of his discs and have been a fan since sixties. Buddy had every album he released and got rid of them because his wife was afraid that their kids would listen to them and be less Christian as a result or something. Too bad as they missed some really creative music and really tight playing from a pioneer. Weasels Ripped My Flesh is still one of my favorite album covers

I've been to several of his Halloween concerts here in jersey back in the day. What a trip.

Zappa was so subversive that he had a huge following behind the Iron Curtain before the wall fell. Supposedly the secret police would club students suspected of being counter revolutionaries and tell them that they were going to beat the Zappa out of them.

Guy was a genius.
One smart mother f'r in many areas. I love watching old interviews of him debating "the establishment" Why anyone would want to go on live TV and debate him is perplexing. I assume most did not do their homework and just pegged him as some stupid musician.
