Boston Marathon today!
Rain, wind, maybe some snow and possible flooding along the route.
Going to be some hypothermia for some. |

should be a hoot with winds gusts to 40 mph, raining like a bastaad, and windchills in the 20s.

What?!?!

A couple of my friends are in it.
Yup, they say it's cold, windy, and turns out it's uphill....both ways today. Going to be a tough day, for sure.

I don't mind running in the rain, but could do without wind.
Security will be ridonculous.

There are a lot of folks that get sponsored by their companies whether they are runners or not. I have a tough time with this pay to join stuff. I know it supposedly for charity but I think of all the others that run their tails off just to get pushed out by a person with connections or means. Yes they practice for a few months and it's not easy, but I just feel somethings you need to deserve. Start with a small marathon and work your way to Boston/New York or others.
