I'm an aerospace engineer and a long time Porsche enthusiast. I've built cars, raced cars and passionately maintained them. I've also spent my day job in the aerospace manufacturing and aftermarket, maintenance, repair and overhaul world.

We have developed a highly innovative digital asset management platform solution for aerospace assets, aircraft and parts and would like to bring the same solution to the car enthusiast world.

Imagine an app that fits in the palm of your hand that contains a carefully curated, pristine digital timeline and record of everything about your enthusiast car. Imagine that with this app, you can create events (a shop visit perhaps or something you did yourself) and upload documents, photos, video and chat directly to the part record (your engine perhaps) and continue to curate these events for the life of the car. Imagine that when you sell the car, the new owner can inspect (remotely if needed) your car, all of its records and then take ownership of that process having purchased the car.

All the records are hosted in the cloud and are secured by the blockchain so you can be guaranteed that none of the documents will ever have been tampered with by subsequent owners down the line without having to trust the platform! This makes it extremely valuable for prospective owners down the line.

We are using this technology in the aerospace industry today to solve a number of very large problems for the industry: Safety and regulatory compliance being one and anti-counterfeit being another example. Companies are using this to track and trace parts throughout the supply chain, prove provenance and pedigree and digitally ship and receive parts with no physical paper. It's revolutionary.
