Insurance pics
Got the old girl out and took some pics for Grundy Insurance. It’s less than half the price of State Farm with a 35k agreed upon value.

Then took the scenic route to the Cutthroat bar in Markleeville for a couple cold ones. First drive of the spring. We had a long winter. The route I take is like a road course. It sure puts a smile on my face. Anyway, a few beers and a drive at the speed limit home.
Nice destination for Californians. Lots of bikers at the bar on weekends from California when Ebbits Pass opens. Also, good drive from California in Porsche. |

Just for a data point, I've got my 72 insured through Hagerty for an agreed value of $70K. Are you sure you have that value set high enough? Or maybe mine's too high?

It's a very nice car with a lot of goodies. But, it is a 1985 cab. with a 1995 3.6 transplant. So, not original and the values haven't risen as much as your 1972T. I will have to reconsider Though.

How much for 35k declared value?
Oh...I don't insure my car based upon it's actual value....just enough to buy me a big azz beer to drown my sorrows ![]() Last edited by KFC911; 04-23-2018 at 03:14 AM.. |
