Any recommendations for a good Independent Mercedes workshop in N. Virginia?
Hi - I am visiting from Australia to meet our new grandson, only 3 months old. My son & daughter in-law live in Aldie NV, near Dulles Airport.
They have just been gifted a 2011 MB e350 from the other grandparents who are showing symptoms of dementia (got lost one night in car for 5 hours recently!!) . So I hope its not a 'white elephant' gift. Can anybody recommend a good Independent MB/German mechanic in this area? My son is a hopeless mechanic (he's a lawyer) - because I fixed up all his cars for him. We are loving visiting USA with its beautiful country and friendly people. Welcome to the States, Mate!
No input on MB shops near DC but someone here should know. If you want to see Porsches, drive on up to Hershey, PA on Saturday morning. The Swap Meet has to be seen to be believed. Pelicans meet at the Crab Shack.

There is an Indie MB shop I know personally, in Stafford County, Va. They are located east of Fredricksburg, Va off of Rt1, Potomac Creek Dr.
The owner as a former MB factory race technician, very pleasant to deal with. PM me if you need anymore information.

Call the guys at RPM in Lorton. They are a Porsche indy but surely would know someone.

^^^ I worked in C'ville for a time, a small BMW / Porsche shop in 2008. I cannot recommend a MB in that area. The place in Staunton, Va. prolly is your best bet.
