Netflix - Fastest Car

Interesting - sleepers vs supercars 1/4 mile each episode. Winners meet at the final runoff.

Bisimoto is a participant with a sleeper and you get some backstory on him/them.

Nice series.

It's a fun but ok series IMO. If you're short on time just watch the last two episodes. A bit of drama, bad will etc. FWIW, I really didn't like that diesel truck chap. He had a lot of mouth, a lot of ability and a lot of guys running around him helping to prove his point.
Probably the best guy won, when you take in all the Netflix BS build-up. Guy from nowhere drives fast car, wins.

It was an interesting series. It was cool to see such a broad range of cars competing together.
I preferred the contestants that built/bought their cars and drove them regularly. They were passionate about their cars and it showed.
A few of the contestants seemed like they cobbled together a car just for this event. That part reminded me of that show Pinks and at times the drama did feel a little orchestrated around these cars.
That Mazda RX-2 was beautiful. That would be my choice for a daily driver/ sleeper car.

It wasn't bad. They did a real good job of picking some d-bags for the supercar owners.
I wish they could do a show for road racing. I think the old one was called "Setup" and it was really fun to watch.

That would be fun. Bring 4 cars and let them loose 30 seconds apart at VIR, Road America, Road Atlanta, wherever, and have them run a set number of laps. Best time of the day moves on.

I have only seen the first episode of Fastest Car. I would have liked to see them run 1/2 mile instead of 1/4 mile in that case.

My favorite car on the series was the one that got hit and nearly destroyed by another driver. That was painful to watch.

I liked the series but my biggest complaint was the lack of cameras and angles at the races at the end of each show. It was impossible to see how the cars each performed in relationship to each other.
