Anyone looking for a nice late model Mercedes-Benz wagon?

Selling this for a close friend, haven't listed it yet.

2013 E350 4matic wagon, one owner w 20k miles. Garaged SoCal car, zero accidents or paintwork and not a scratch on it w the exception of the bottom of the front spoiler which is really low and scrapes parking stops. Thinking about getting just that painted, (not the whole bumper), but hesitant to have anything done on a no paintwork car.

Loaded w almost every option including sport package, AMG wheels, pano roof, driver assist, etc., etc...

Books for $40k high retail w the low miles, not sure what the real market is for it but thinking mid-to-upper $30s? Was $67k new @ BH MB. It may have exteneded warranted left, (transferable), I need to check on that tomorrow. Total cream puff, almost showroom condition.

I could replace the RX with this. I'll offer $15k!

At that price, you'd be outbid by me.

Having a hard time finding comparable cars, most have a lot more miles. Like the Lexus, the book adds a lot for the low miles but not sure if that's realistic(?) Might just throw it on eBay w a reserve for her and see what people bid.

I was surprised at the Monroney. I thought for sure it would be in the mid-upper 70s.

The styling on this generation e-class is forgettable, but it's the only wagon left. Cool car!

I'm selling two of my cars in the next couple months once my sister decides if she's going to move back to L.A. or not, I'll PM you to see if she still has it when I start looking.

waiting for these cars to drop in value to 20k-ish

Are there any weak points with these cars....or just typical Mercedes maintenance?

I need to replace my Saab AWD 9.3 wagon. Have been looking at a used MB. I agree, the newer front end is a big styling improvement. Even so I would be interested in this car if it was closer. From what I have seen I think mid 30’s may still be a tad high.

i would say at 5 years old, it's probably lost 55-60% of its sticker price, for a true value private party sale.

If your friend has the time to wait, I would suggest holding out for the big bucks on this one. It's far too nice to blow out the door for the same money as cars that are not nearly as nice.

Thread is over a year old. Did the car sell and what was the final price? Sure looks nice.

sorry to revive an old thread...but i always wanted a mbz wagon just like the one in this post. Look at this price for a 2011 for $16.5 96k miles

Yes, it sold about a year ago for $34k, (IIRC). I’m sure that it has a few more miles and has depreciated some more by now but the lady who bought it will drive it into the ground and get her money’s worth out of it, based on her car history.

It was a true cream puff.

That looks like a smoking deal and won’t cost someone much on future depreciation. The initial years depreciation is brutal.

I would suggest listing this on our Mercedes forum, Peach Parts. You'll likely find some interested parties there. Best of luck!
