Porsche GT3 RS cracks the seven-minute mark at the 'Ring!
If you didn't hear it yet, you're hearing it now! Porsche put down a 6:56.4 lap time, which is a whole 24 seconds faster than the previous 911 GT3 RS, at the Nürburgring. It was set by 29-year-old Frenchman Kévin Estre, on April 16th! It is now the the third production Porsche sports car with a lap time of less than seven minutes on the world’s most demanding race track. Watch it below and share your thoughts with us.

I was surprised to see the top speed as "only" 286kph for an instant. Obviously a lot of downforce on that car. That driver worked for that time. Plenty of sideways moments...

So the GT2 just did 6:47 with 200 more hp? 9 seconds is within margin of error on that track why would you pay up for the GT2?!?

286 kmh = 177.7 mph
The GT2 indicated 313 in the same spot =194.5

Sub 7 minutes is crazy fast.
The Nissan GT-R NISMO set a lap time of 7:08 and that car is insane.
