help w/ final!

So ... I'm close to done with my batchelors in software dev (gotta have the paper to back up the experience now... ) and I'm done wiht my final project for my angular JS class. And I hated all but one part of it. So I just ripped that part out and made it stand alone...

So come chat :) Real time (almost...) IRC-like chat via browser, javascript, and a little PHP and SQL on the back end. Going through and polishing up formatting on source, variable names, etc. so I can submit it tomorrow. Once that is done, I'll post source code on the chat page too (gotta check sub-licensing on some stuff but I think I can go GPLv2)

come chat with me :)

Even though this thread is almost completely in a language I don't speak, am I getting it right that an almost-graduated software developer's linky to chat with him about his final no-worky?

I'd recommend Apache 2.0 for licensing if compatible with open source used (and their associated licenses) for any derivative work. Just IMHO.

Yeah... kinda.

Works great on my desktop between my 2 browsers. Or on my house network - even going out to the world.

Works great on work computers between me and coworkers - using Firefox and Chrome, me on Linux, them on Win7 and 10.

Wasn't refreshing properly last night with y'all.... :(

The good news (for me anyway) is that I'm not a "full stack" guy - (from back end to presentation to end user). I'm more of a "foundation and infrastructure" and can go from bare metal to a working secured server to a back end service for an application.

Besides, I have until 5 today to submit it and I have LOTS of coffee :D

Weird... 'cause I haven't edited any code.

I think I may have mentioned this.... BUT I HATE JAVASCRIPT!!!!

Appears ok on ios.
And anyone that can count past 10 without removing their shoes and socks hates JavaScript. Or worse, it’s bastard stepchild Node.js

And this is an Angular/NodeJS thing... GAH!

Just note you use the Dilbert principal when you submit and it will be fine!

I think I have all of two pages for our intranet that use JavaScript and that is only for some menu pre-order forms.

We use ColdFusion on the back end here.

yep, working for me with firefox and chrome. IE11, I get a blank page (which is https and does include the turd favicon)

Frankly, no great surprise there. IE is a turd.
