Harbor Freight Class Action Settlement
 

Just got my H.F. $160 gift card in the mail.

My check was $660......you must not have bought as many tools....... :)

I was totally unaware that Harbor Freight sold inexpensive low-quality tools made overseas.

Why did someone give this 1 star?

My check must be in the mail...

Well they used to........not anymore. Looks like they might go bankrupt!

Im just angry people have the nerve to take legal action against them. I guess they like spending two or three times as much anywhere else.

The lawsuit alleged that Harbor Freight violated the law by advertising merchandise at a “sale” or “comp at” price when the same items had not been sold at the advertised regular or “comp. at” price for at least 28 of the preceding 90 days.

Chicken shiet lawsuit. Thanks for the clarification but their stuff is cheap even at full price.

I agree. Never was a fan of law-suit lottery.

No kidding. If someone had to sue to prove that they are an idiot. I think that is part of their allure.

i want to sue McDonalds. my hamburger NEVER looks like the one in the picture when I open it..

its funny, there is a strip club that advertises an AMERTURE competition and in the same sentence they invite " professionals with their unfair advantage".

Harbor Freight Second Disbursement?
 

I received a check for the harbor freight class action settlement. I see that claimants who where supposed to get a $10.00 gift card received a $160.00 gift card instead. That was no where in the court approved settlement. This makes me think that there is money left over. If there is money left over there is supposed to be a second disbursement to class A and B claimants. I have sent them an email and have not got a response. Seems like call A and class B claimants should have received a second disbursement check before others who were not supposed to get a second payout.
