I'm not sure, my light plane knowledge is limited.

I just enjoy a few friends getting together, flying into the air slower than my car, cruising across woods and farmland.

Then they fly over a massive campground loaded with airplane enthusiasts that have convened on one part of the country, then landing to a crowd of enthusiasts.



To me, that is America, to be able to execute a passion, and to freely congregate and get together with other like minded folks.

Jules Verne's from the Earth to the Moon somewhat highlights this.

We have oceans, deserts, forests, plains, farms, factories, cities, people doing different things, thinking different thoughts, yet all Americans. We're quacks, nuts, fanatics and inventors. Life's direction can be influenced and changed

We had another "This is America" thread, one less positive.

I was just thinking during the time I spent watching a >20 minute airplane flight over a piece Wisconsin that this video helps represent who America is.
