The butter on the flat top “smash” method is very tasty! So is a reverently grilled (lol) non-abused nice burger. They’re just two different things.

I like my burger meat the way I like my steak...med. rare.
I once asked Good Guys for a med. rare burger and they said the law wouldn't allow it. When I'm not making my own, I go to an Italian restaurant if I want a true hamburger. They blend their own meat and bake their own buns. I can get a med. rare that's over an inch thick...good and pink inside. Not one of those chain places where it's over cooked and thin. |
