Traveling to SEA later this month

Hey guys, I know I haven’t been around much lately, work and life and all that.

Anyways, anyone interested in grabbing dinner in Seattle the week of the 24th? I fly in about 6pm on the 24th and leave Friday afternoon! Would love to meet up with some folks.

I’m staying near Pikes place, and won’t have a car, so bonus points for something in that area!

Who are you? :)

Have a craft beer for me while there.

I’ll be there next week, too bad it’s not sooner!

Dang Matt! You need to get back to AZ.

Just wait a few months, it’s hot now!!!

That shouldn’t be a problem!

Heck I’ll have one for you tonight too.

That looks like a good suggestion. Might have to swing by there.

If you are willing uber/cab/walk up the hill a mile or so, you could go to Elysian up on capital hill. Hipper part of town to be sure.

If you are taking an Uber I’d suggest heading to Ballard (4 miles) which is home to at least 10 micro brew spots. Such as Rooftop, Peddler, Populux (nice collection of vintage pinball machines) and Ruebens. They usually have food trucks on site and are going to be a little more interesting than the large commercial operations like Pike or Elysian. My neighborhood has two, Fiddlehead and Urban Family which are both great and just slightly closer to you than Ballard.

Hey guys, my trip got expanded. Coming to town on the 18th, leaving on the 29th. Anyone up for a bite or beer in there?

I used to live in the Pike Place Market. It is probably the most central place you can be in Seattle, so there are lots of great places within walking distance.

Instead of Pike or Elysian, try Old Stove (great view) or Cloudburst.

Some places in the market I would recommend:
Le Pichet - great little french bistro
Le Panier - yummy pastries (no relation to Le Pichet AFAIK)
Sushi Kashiba - arguably the best sushi in Seattle.
Crumpet Shop - awesome crumpets, try the ham, ricotta, pesto

I'm sure I could meet up for a beer sometime in there...

Good suggestions! I’m coming in on the 18th and staying up by lake union for the first part of the trip, moving over by pikes the second half. I’m free every evening at this point, so throw out some dates and we can figure something out.
