how to watch 24 hours of Lemans
 

I am a cord cutter I only have DSL internet through Windstream and my primary program companies are Hulu and Sling via Roku devices . I like my setup really not much to complain about . However I want to be able to watch most of the 24 hours of Lemans and it is on Velocity . Velocity is available through Hulu but I can't seem to get it , I can download the app but to register/validate it you need to provide your cable provider :mad: I don't have a cable provider . And Windstream is not one of the options in the drop down menu . Is there a way to get around this ?

If there is no way to get around the issue described above my plan B is to register with Philo . It is a streaming service that works with Roku and Velocity is part of their basic package . They offer a 7 day free trial but there is a slight catch , the first two days of the 7 day free trial are totally free you do not have to give any credit card info . After day 2 you have to provide CC data for the remaining 5 free days . So I plan on activating late Friday night and cancelling on Sunday afternoon . Online reviews of Philo basically say it's a great service , no buffering but limited content........ I only need this one channel :D Anyone out there using Philo ? I guess I'll see how it works soon enough .

I think the official live streaming is €10 through the website.

Think it is geoblocked in the United States. Velocity Channel seems to be the only way we can watch the race coverage here. Someone said there was a way to watch it on the paid Motor Trend app but I haven't check it out because I get Velocity.

A few teams seem to have live feeds and there is always Radio Le Mans for excellent audio of the race coverage.

Search you tube once the race starts.

Also if you are using streaming device, see if you can load up the Kodi app. I am sure there will be streams on there either with Sports Pub or other sports streamers.

I have Velocity.......Come on by anytime this weekend......I'll leave the light on...

I was looking at You Tube earlier today. There is a large amount of content from Quali and practices. Assuming that there will be some for race like there was for 24 Hours of Nurburgring.

For me, it won't be anywhere close to as interesting as the years past when Porsche and Audi were competing in the top class.

The Velocity feed is a little clunky.
