Aluminum reacts to both acid and base. As mentioned, simple green can wreck aluminum parts.
I like petro based solvents and citrus solventsin my ultrasonic cleaner. I am sure you can always get something in Cal. |

I still have a quart can of MEK. I was always careful of it because it seemed to eat up any kind of glove I used with it. I also still have an unopened gallon of Chem-Dip. I'm saving it for a special occasion. |
