The democrat congressman came out today and appologized and said about the attack:
"it was at the end of a very long day". That's his explanation. If there was more to it you'd think he'd be using it to defend himself but he is not. My guess is that these kids came up to him and asked him if they could ask him a couple questions for school. He figured they were loyal kool-aide drinkers but when they asked him if he supported obama's policies he realized he'd been had and they weren't his loyal subjects and he lost it. I'm not defending the congressman, but one thing about this irritates me. Why did the student blur his face out before posting this video? It's kind of cowardly to set a video "trap" for someone, and then hide yourself on the video. I dunno, seems like kind of a double-standard -- you can be publicly embarrassed but not me.
