The consensus is that you're not a bright dude for posting this lame thread.

Exactly. and does it mean Yes, Sammy is a bright dude -or - Yes, Sammy is a bright dude!

Well, I'll just say, Yes, Sammy is a bright dude. And, he would never form such a poorly written Q.

Sammy has two parts of his brain, smart and angry. Excessive blood flow to one part results in an unfortunate deficiency in the other part.

I always think these personal attack threads reflect poorly on the person who starts them.

I'd say close this and avoid attacking sammy; no problem with attacking his ideas or posts, but no direct let's get so&so threads.

I think personal attacks reflect poorly on those who use personal attacks.

How did 912 in any way attack Sammy? All he did was quote me, and make my statement a poll.

I think gogar is close on this one. Sort of.
I do get angry and have very little patience with others. Especially when they take the easy stance or one that is biased out of personal benefit or is emotionally derived. I do not suffer fools or foolish opinions well.

One of the things I harp on is using logic and facts instead of emotion to study an issue and come to a conclusion.
There are times when frustration, disgust, or contempt clouds my judgement or affects my opinion but usually not. I try to develop an opinion without emotion and then "energetically" support it. With varying success.

Yesterday I was particularly opinionated and energetic in sharing my opinions. No sugar-coating allowed.
Today not as much. Working swing shift sux and I was a little pissed and it might have showed. No appologies, that's who I am.
