Snuff video: Enviro propaganda depicts child murder

Snuff video: Enviro propaganda depicts child murder | Washington Examiner

Via Moe Lane, hereís todayís what the heck-were-they-thinking moment. From the U.K. come this spectacularly ill-advised environmental ad campaign from Richard Curtis, the writer/director of such warm ní fuzzy fair as Love, Actually. Apparently, Curtis thought it would be a good idea to make an ad where school children who donít take take the prospect of global warming seriously enough get blown up by their teacher, graphically covering their horrified classmates with blood, guts and viscera. WARNING ó this video is not for sensitive or easily upset viewers:

Really makes you want to go out and buy a Prius, doesnít it? At the Times of London, James Dellingpole is suitably indignant:

Kyoto is dead. Copenhagen was a flop. Cancun is going to make a mockery of all those green dreams about global carbon emissions legislation. And how do the environmentalists respond?

By force of argument?

By presenting new evidence which supports their cause?

Nope.

By threatening to blow up anyone who disagrees with them.

And not just that: they believe this is actually an entirely reasonable and rather amusing position to adopt.

Fortunately, Dellingpole later observes that even the Green movement, which until now has never seen an outrageous stunt or piece of extreme rhetoric it didnít embrace, is running away from the video as fast as they can.

The creator can't really believe its anything other than satire on the EcoNazis. If he's serious, then he is a wackjob.

Still, purely from a production, timing and writing POV it was atypical Brit over the top funny.

I really didn't find it funny. I found it disturbing. It really seemed to be a "fall into line, or we will kill you" thing.

Just found!?

It's always been more about the beliefs than the facts.

Hummm, interesting. Maybe the green movement IS a religion?
That's a good thought.
I wonder what the percentage is of religious people that believe in climate change? Do they not believe because they already have a religion?
Do they not care because they are supposedly going to a better place anyways?
I would say it is dominated by Atheists and Agnostics because they want to stay here on earth.
Maybe we are witnessing the birth of a young new religion.
I wonder if there will be wars over climate change.

You know Atheism is the fastest growing 'religion'. Maybe in the future there will be Crusade against the non believers in climate change?

Well there may not be wars over Gohoglowa [go-ho-GLO-wah] (Gore's Hoax of Global Warming) but we do have Gohoglowa terrorists, saboteurs and fascists commonly referred to as religious fanatics in a different context.

I agree. We have religious freaks shooting doctors in church, blowing up women and children in the ME and we have Gohoglowa terror as well.
I think the most recent act of Gohoglowa terrorism was when some people spray painted some SUVs.

Gohoglowa terror is still in it's infancy.

That is some warped public service announcement! There is something wrong with me 'cause I caught myself snickering. Too much Monty Python I guess.

But, fine, whatever... no pressure!

More naturalist wackos showing the face of rogue and fringe religions. Just a quick note, if the humanist, naturalist, atheist, socialist, green peace or Muslim group you associate with endorses terror as means to gain members or proselytize the infidels, then consider this, you're probably in a false religion.

"No pressure." Truly despicable and reprehensible.

He,he. That's funny. Could be true though. To get some street cred doesn't a new religion have to kill some folk from another other religion.
Maybe not true of all religions. But to be a true western religion, you have to kill some people.

Where do you get this stuff? Do you just make everything up? I know you are a troll, but doesn't it ever bother you in the least when you try to push your fantasy world on others?
