Why are people even talking about prosecuting Julian Assange?
I want him disappeared and silenced as much as the next guy does. But he's not a US citizen and is not operating on US soil. How/why is he subject to any US law, especially as an Aussie operating in Sweden? I'd love for us to catch all the traitors who are feeding him classified info and they probably are all Americans and thus can be prosecuted if caught. But Assange is one of those guys who seems to be legally untouchable, which is why he needs to be disappeared.

There is at least one guy I heard of in the clink awaiting the next step in his court martial. He is accused of feeding Assange. Army guy, I think.

Exactly,, that is why we have a CIA,, he should get cancer (oh wait that's the russians),, we should send a drone and red mist him..

We can't hit him with a drone in Sweden. He needs to have his tea spiked with polonium like the Russkies did to their guy in London a while back. The Army private awaiting court martial for feeding Assange info is in his early 20's and will likely die of old age in Leavenworth. What a waste of a life.

He can be prosecuted under U.S. law for theft of U.S. government property (i.e., military information). Many years ago i was involved in a similar prosecution. You don't have to be a U.S. citizen to be subject to our laws if you steal our stuff.
