Newt or Obama?
Just a straight up question...which one?

You don't expect to get any kind of a measurement out of this poll that has anything to do with the real world do you? Seriously....do you?

A vote for newt means if you have ilegals working for you like most republican business owners do. Lawn care, drywallers, cement workers, pizza shop, blocklayers, ditch diggers etc.. You can still keep them for $4.00 to $6.50 an hour. Same as before or hire more and create more below min. Wage jobs .that is the new republican jobs plan and with no health care. Please do not die on the job.

Thats the way it is and has been here in Kentucky (south of the clue line) for years with the democrats or an occasional republican at the helm. Every trade Luftman listed is filled by non english speaking, non tax paying illegals. In the meantime, my county, has an unemployment rate over 11% . The business owners here , for the most part, are democrats . To say that this is a republican thing don't pass muster with me.

The point is....why post a poll when you know pretty much what the answer will be and wont really change as the many real world polls will fluctuate heading into primary season and the eventual election. |

When was I all for Obama? I have many views that are completely at odds with him. Mostly you guys get some banter when you fuss over stupid ****. I was a McCain guy until he F'd up with Palin. I only wasted my vote on what was inevitable.....Obama to add on a lesson the right refuses to learn. I'm fully behind Ron Paul and this time he gets a write in vote no matter what.

I think voting for the individual you think will provide the best leadership for this nation is a whole lot smarter than voting for the candidate based on party affiliation. There are an awful lot of people who would dutifully vote for whatever disaster their party offered, because they're voting against the other party. It isn't like either party has shown a willingness to act in the nation's best interests. Anyone who believes either party espouses thier personal values makes me want to keep a close watch on my money and distance myself from them physically.

Charles Krauthammer:
"My own view is that Republicans would have been better served by the candidacies of Mitch Daniels, Paul Ryan or Chris Christie. Unfortunately, none is running. You play the hand you’re dealt. This is a weak Republican field with two significantly flawed front-runners contesting an immensely important election. If Obama wins, he will take the country to a place from which it will not be able to return (which is precisely his own objective for a second term). Every conservative has thus to ask himself two questions: Who is more likely to prevent that second term? And who, if elected, is less likely to unpleasantly surprise?"

There is little difference between the Dems and Republicans. 80% of what gets done is what would get done anyway regardless of who has the WH. They are both parties representing special interests, and the majority of all special interests pay both parties. I'm going to keep voting to mix it up regardless of what an asshat like you thinks. ![]() |
