New Pelican app?
Ok, I keep getting a new prompt that there is an iPad pelican app. What is this "tapatalk" and why would it be better than the regular way I use pelican on the iPad?

The mobile version of the board is limited.

Tapatalk restores those functions, like attaching pics to a post.

Hey- Wayne if you read this could you put the 800 # to pelican on the forums as a link? Would come in handy to be able to surf the forums then call the 800# to order parts.

Im on an iphone and PPOT is on my bookmarks cuz I surf there. Would be cool to click the forums then the 800# to call and order parts- usually happens when I'm out and away from the computer and need a human to look up stuff to order.

I'm not getting it.
It just started popping up today when using my iPad to read Pelican. Showed up in the center of the screen in a small blue/gray box, looked like the prompt you get when the server is not responding.

I started getting it today also. I downloaded tapatalk yesterday and thought it might be the app sending me a notice.

a new Pelican app was going to function to clean all the crap out of PARF, but the sewers overflowed during testing, so it was cancelled

I have a nasty habit of ordering my stuff when I'm in the middle of doing other stuff- like say, eating lunch or out with friends.

Moments like this when I'm in front of the computer when I have all the time in the world I don't think about stuff I need. Just the way it works with me, I guess.

I received the notice when I logged on to Pelican from my Android Tablet on the regular browser.

Do I need to spend $2.99 to access Pelican on an Android Tablet? Nope.
