Hah, the cold war is won!
We suckered those Ruskies into spending every penny they had into defending non-allies, thousands of miles away. Then they went bankrupt, and the mafia took over. |

Are you presenting this as a negative thing?

Remember the Japanese? This is old news, just different Asian country. BTW, we created the Japanese monster and created the Chinese monster as well.
How is that plastic chinese walmart crap working out for you? |

Got to agree. We'll survive this too but I do think the Chinese are more dollar oriented than the Japanese. I think they'd be much more likely to buy something over here and cart it off. Is it a bad thing, I don't know, time will tell.

Let them open it! Big time. Let them pour in as much money as they want. Because the day it opens there will be Americans of every race, color and creed applying to live there, and there won't be a god damn thing they can do about it. This is America, not China.

Hmmm, from what I've seen they don't have that over there.

There are a lot of imported biotech and engineering students in Ann Arbor.
The UofM goes for out of state top-dollar applicants instead of locals(see Jeniffer Gratz vs UM). Then again, since the Reagan years education has not been a priority. Milan is quite far from Ann Arbor. Not close at all, and about as corn field and country-boy as it gets in this area. They will have to pay off some officials big time if they even want to think about getting started. |
