geezer - I give you it will get downright dirty... However, with the peanut throwing thing - if it were anyone but an attendee the RNC would have been all over that stating it was anyone but one of their people. If it was a conference center employee, a vendor, an observer... they would have been really fast to let you know that. They aren't saying that it wasn't one of theirs, they did say they were 'attendees' - that speaks volumes. It mostly likely was one of 'theirs' otherwise the claim of separation would have happened instantly and very loudly. It was their security people who did the escorting, so they pretty much know who did it.

That's detestable and I'm glad it was witnessed by multiple people and handled quickly.

Two points to consider...

1) I know that no one of above average intelligence would attempt to make a case that this is "typical Republican behavior." It is not.

2) Don't be surprised if it is later discovered that the peanut throwers where Democrat dirty tricksters. It just doesn't ring "authentic" to me.

And really guys - do you know how hard it is to get on the floor of the convention... it isn't easy. I sincerely doubt if those were liberal plants - more likely drunk republicans. The RNC spokespeople certainly think they were 'theirs' - “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”
