Photo Location in Hong Kong
 

I want to take a few pictures of my car in Hong Kong. I have seen a few posted with the HK Side harbour in the background. Can someone tell me where these were taken from and also suggest any other good lcoations in Hong Kong (Island, Kowloon or the New territories).

Month late. But try thr road up past Mount Butler past the quarry. Great views over the harbour and Kowloon as back drop.

Other good locations are all over the place. Tai Mo Shan in NT with Sek Kong as back drop, Plover Cove at Tei Mei Tuk as water back ground...

However, we'll need to wait till this smog lifts - if ever. Horrible.

Glad to see someone still using this Message Board in HK.

Well this weekend was a wash out.

Perhaps today or this coming weekend will give us some photo opportunities.

Which day do the Porche Club get together - is it last Sunday of the Month?

I'd like to attend at least one function over the summer...

Weather was crap.
Will try for this weekend.
Also if anyone knows of a good spot on Kowloon side where I can have the HK side of the harbour as the background please let me know. I have tried from the Ocean terminal carpark but the fence/wall is a little hig to get a really good view.

Try the golf driving range at old Kai Tak airport. Excellent views of the harbour.

Also, Fei Ngor Shan is rather good if you drive up the country park road past Razor Hill.

Bruce, Me and Jeff had took some pics somewhere near the west harbour tunnel, there is a helicopter place that you could face HK side. Details I have to ask Jeff

Mark, PCHK is normally the first Sunday of each month. I am not on the mailing list so you will need to find someone who is to get the start point.
The Old kai Tak airport would be a great location. I will try that and if we can get the details of the west harour tunnel location that would also be an excellent spot.
