By my calculations at 5.6HKD to the $ the 150,000 is about $26,700 AUD - can this be right?

You generally cannot send a car to Australia unless it is 15 Years old or you have owned and used it for a year. There are some exceptions such as cars made in Australia or already with an Australian compliance plate.
For the $ Your Maths is about right.
