Door Lock Rekeying?
My 1983 911sc has differing door and ignition lock keys, I'm hoping to make them the same key.
Are there any local locksmiths who can rekey my door lock cylinders to match my ignition key? The few locksmiths I have called only replied 'not with that older model.' I'm located up in Bellingham. I'm also open to DIY though cannot find a 'kit' of tumbler pins available anywhere. |

If you can't find someone up there, I would suggest Broadway Locksmith in Seattle. They re-keyed a replacement ignition assembly for me. Came on the recommendation of Mark Peters at Gerber many years ago.

I wonder if they could do the bonnet lock on my targa. I never lock my doors because it is a targa and my current key only fits the ignition.
