Where's the meetup this Saturday?

It has been suggested (by many) that we go back to our morning meeting time, so we are going to try to meet this Saturday between 8:00 and 8:30 am.

As far as our meeting place goes, we are going to try our old/previous meeting spot at Brown Bag in Kirkland. I have been told by the staff that we should be able to get seating together if we check in by 8:30 am at the latest. With this in mind, if some of us can arrive between 8:00-8:15 am, then we should be just fine.

Date: July 13, 2013
Time: 8:00 am or later
Place: Brown Bag in Kirkland (see: Brown Bag Cafes - Location)

both 520 and 405 closures this weekend
not the best month to move. it is actually going to be easier to get to issaquah by back roads than kirkland taking eastside freeways. side streets are going to be a mess in that area as a result.

The venue change is caused by the same reason it was temporarily moved to 11:00 am...XXX is not open for breakfast.

As far as the freeway closures go, all freeways will be impacted, but less so in the morning. It should not be difficult to choose an alternate route if necessary.

enjoy, hope you have a good turn out i'm going to skip. i'm not dealing with rerouting around bellevue, to a venue i didnt really like the last time we visited.

other than killing mid day on the weekend i still prefer the XXX over any other locations we have ever attempted. yes breakfast was better but the XXX still is one of the best locations for all to get too. we keep coming back for some reason...

You know Ted, it is attitudes like this that make people not want to help out. We all know that it is a thankless job to help put things like our monthly breakfast together, but when somebody like yourself, which never volunteers to help put these events together, spouts off with your non-supportive attitude from the peanut gallery, I say don't show...you won't be missed! You think you can do better, then by all means, DO IT!

holy crap scott.

i'm just saying that the traffic issue is why i might skip this month. i always prefered the XXX over all the others we have tried. not saying the brown bag isnt a good location, just that i like the XXX. i think you are reading to much into this.

i just posted the traffic info for all to see and to find alternative routes. sorry if it sounded like i didn't appreciate your work. just its a little crazy here at work this morning and i may not have chosen the correct phasing on why i might be MIA saturday morning.

just got the update - i didn't know eating breakfast/lunch with fellow porsche guys for the last 12 years or so could result in a wound, insult, etc.!

thanks to everyone (and there are a lot of folks over the years) who try to organize all of our local porsche events
