As the self-designated recon man, I already tested an Arrive and Drive this past weekend that we can either start or end at Pyramid Brewing and takes about 1.5 hours. I will cover details at the next meeting.

Paul - try to make it out to the next gathering on the 10th. The plan is for those w/ favorite drives to show up with a map and we'll start planning some smaller AnD's.
I also talked to Shaun 84 Targa and he can print up our shirts for $20 a shirt. Since we'll have such a small run of shirts (15 - 20), this is a pretty good deal, plus he's a fellow Pelican. Let me know who'd be interested in a shirt and what size. If we get enough, I'll contact Shaun.

Thursdays were a close second.... the better question probably is, who couldn't make it on Thursdays?
T-shirts are a go if I can get a commitment for about 15 - 20 shirts. Once I have that, I'll be asking for cash up front ($20/shirt) for however many t-shirts you want, to cover the printing costs. Also - is anyone going to SCCA races this weekend? I'm hoping someone can pick up a set of rotors for me from Todd Jenne, who'll be coming down from Seattle. Preferably someone that'll be at the next beers n' burgers ![]()

Thursdays are fine by me, too. Or should I withhold my vote, to be sold for free beer?

Final design on the t-shirts was the crest on the front pocket area and the last design (car w/ tree, mt, badge) on the back. I sent the designs to Shaun and he suggested that we space out the letters a little more across the bottom (hint, hint, Eric
)

I'd do a T shirt. What were the sizes and colors available? I'll have a medium if available.

Size is whatever you need. To paraphrase Henry Ford, "you can have any color your want, as long as it's white."

OK - since I haven't heard any "I can't make Thursdays", we're officially changing the date to 3/11. So other than the day, same bat place, same bat time.
See you on Thursday! (Toby, that means you need to show up too). Don't forget to bring your maps for our AnD planning.

Help me with a moral dilemma
OK gentlemen, I need you all to help me with a moral dilemma. Harold Klein and I work with another gentleman that heard about what we are doing regarding planning out some arrive-and-drives. He was wondering if he can come tag along and share the knowledge we are about to pool. The dilemma comes in that he does not own a Porsche, only a couple BMWs. Is "Teutonic" adequate for attendance, or do we want to keep it to "Porsche only"? BTW; he is getting rid of one of the BMWs soon and I am trying to steer him toward getting a Cayman S.
So; what are your thoughts?

Jim,
Personally, I have no issue after all at the end of the day, it is not about the car but the people. Besides how else will we show him the error of his ways...

Uhh...was there an implied smiley with that, or was that a "rather not"? I'm absolutely cool either way. I can always just pass the route info for whatever rides we identify on to him at work and drive them with him outside this group.

I can make it if I can crash on somebody's couch that night?
Gotta be in Portland Friday anyway to get the Land Rover worked on. Anyone? I'm house trained. Cheers, Paul.
