You as well. Was a nice day for a drive - even fired up the BBQ.

Yesterday was my last day working for Haggen if I want it to be. I locked the doors on the Sherwood location and handed the keys to the property manager at 5pm. They've asked me to become the Assistant at the Oregon City store. I asked for a couple days to make a decision.

Because I have Interview #2 with New Seasons this morning at 9:30. Wish me luck

Good Luck Cary! It's time you found a store to call home; you need to put an end to all this carpetbagging!

Well 2 weeks ago I pulled the plug. I retired after 45 years of pushing airplanes around the sky. Now I have more time to troll the internet and attend some car functions, oh and golf and sail my little boat.

I'm on my way to Arizona for 3-4 months in my motor home with my dog and cat. When I return i'll have no excuses not to come to your Thurs get together and Sat show and tell as well as some autoxing, more track days and RGRUPPE activities.

Since I retired on my birthday in Nov I gave myself a retirement/birthday present!

Best of luck & success to you!!!!

They would be foolish not hiring you, given your experience and vision in this industry.

Great you'll be a source of info. There's a place in Calif called Mini Mania that has been a big help so far. It has some issues, like the head lights don't work and it may need some ball joints. Can't find a Haynes or other manual for 1993 to help chase down the electrical gremlins.

HA! Thats what British cars are all about.

You may need to order that from the UK; there are ads in the UK Mini magazines you need to look at.

I think it went well. Pretty much an interrogation as to my management style and leadership skills.
No real questions about my operational skills. Basically can I or will I fit it their corporate culture

Now tonight's dilemma, do I turn down Haggen's offer and take the 3 week retention bonus for sticking it out till the end .................. ???

Stay and get a bonus or go? How long before you need to tell Haggen? How quickly before New Seasons lets you know? Tough call.

Whatever you decide, it will be right.
