Cary:

I think I will go with the Porsche grey like color.

I will be at AX this Sunday so if you are there, we can make the swap.

Doug: Nice looking parts.

We need to figure out payment as well.

Fun Road

Had to go to Warrenton for a meeting on Tuesday. I decided to go a day early and took the Z4.

Cruised down 26 and got onto 47 to Vernonia and Mist. Then hit 202 into Astoria.

Fun Roads and on a weekday, not busy.

If you have not gone this way, you need to try it out.

FWIW Jaguar will again be doing the Autocross and Off Road Demos. If you have not done it yet, it is fun.

JYL and I went out yesterday. Boy, that event is a shadow of it's old glory! Vintage car counts were unbelievably low, the car corrals were empty. What happened? Smokey looked lonesome next to those two VW's!

(But it was really fun putting the boot to the F type Jag! Thanks, Land Rover / Jaguar!)

Agreed. It was pretty sad. What really struck me was the lack of young folks.

The Jaguar demo was fun. Got to take an extra run at the end.

Very nice looking and well cared for. Is that a good price? Not that I need another car!

1989 Turbo S is a pretty rare car, so considering condition I'd say that's a pretty good price. Still a little out of my budget, but...you never know...

that's because it didn't really exist! 88 was the only Turbo S (Silver Rose). in 89, the Turbo S essentially became the standard and was just the 944 Turbo.

does this only fit 911? or will it fit 944s? do you have service records? can it roll over a piece of gravel in my garage, or will it get stuck?

It's non-turbo, but has high compression piston and slicks. Eats gravel for lunch...

I'm mocking up rear suspension parts and need a 205-50-16 tire to mount on a Fuchs wheel. Does anyone have a tire of this size laying around that I can borrow or take off your hands to save you the cost of disposal?

What was the last year of the 951? Did it carry out with the S2 or stop sooner?
