Here's the left knee at 8 weeks since the procedure.
A majority of the swelling is gone.
The incision is healing nicely....won't be much to see once the bigfoot hair on my leg grows back. Ha
All the pain from before is gone.
I can climb stairs (slowly) and sleep now with no pain in the left knee.
Driving the Pcar with the clutch didn't bother the left knee at all last night and again today when I went to my PT appt.

Truthfully, this new knee is already better in many ways than my right knee which wasn't far behind the left knee.
I'm really amazed and impressed by how well this knee replacement is doing and supposedly it will only get better and better with time.
I still have a long way to go in the strength and flexibility part of the recovery.....but that's what the next 6 months is for I guess.
I'll be ready to hit the links next Spring. Fore......

Nice shorts, eh?
I know you are all envious of them.

Thanks for the update, Doug. Now, of course, I am going to have to beat you in the recovery game, right?

So, THIS is what a Singer looks like after a devastating fire. You know, I always wondered, now I know....

That's one BIG strip of plumbers putty. Never seen that on a knee before! How are you feeling? Did they hook you up with the constant motion machine or at least the "air massage" cast?

Ok I'll show off my joint surgery too. Ten years ago when I moved back to Oregon from Florida I fell out of the back of the moving truck. I fell right across the tow bar to another vehicle I was towing. Thought I broke some ribs but I had landed stiff arm across the tow bar and broke my elbow.

I left the screws in for a year and then had the Doc take them out. You could feel them when you put your elbow down on something. He did a perfect job, the left is just as flexible as the right.
