This is no ordinary 911 SC. It has been heavily modified and optimized for aggressive street and track duty.
1986 Euro Carrera 3.2 motor built by Chris Powell's shop with 29,000 on the rebuild. 10.3:1 compression, crank from a '92 C-2 Turbo, 993 cams, bored out throttle body (3mm over), ported and polished heads, faired and polished intake manifold, crankcase webs beveled for windage, injectors rebuilt and blueprinted, adjustable rising-rate fuel pressure regulator. The pistons, rods, crank, flywheel and pressure plate were all balanced. The connecting rods were reconditioned, balanced end for end, and assembled with ARP rod bolts. The exhaust is by SSI with a Monty muffler. The upper valve covers, the intake manifold, and the fan and housing powder coated. Dyno tested at 210 SAE HP at the rear wheels. Adjusting for drivetrain losses and converting to DIN gives 255 HP at the crank.
Trans rebuild also done at Chris's German with LSD installed, 14,000 miles on that work.
Greg Fordahl did the suspension work, Koni sports, 29mm/22mm torsion bars, TRG sways, reinforced mounts, turbo tie rods.
Fikse FM-10 with Toyo R888's installed, less than 3,000 miles and 3 track days on the tires.
Carrera brakes, Recaro SRD's,. Carrera spoiler and front lip spoiler, DAS bolt in roll bar.
The car is immaculate mechanically. Cosmetically it's probably a 7 out of 10. Some rock chips in the original paint. It's extremely straight with excellent gaps, no sign of collision. Interior is also a 7 out of 10. Dash is in great shape as are door panels and rear seats. Headliner needs a bit of love in a few spots. Have many extra parts and original front seats.
I started racing vintage formula cars in 2008 and therefore this car has not been used much during my ownership. I've done 4-5 track days with it, enough to know it's very well dialed in. Serious inquiries only. More pics and info available upon request. $22,500 obo.
