Anodizing coming off window frame trim

Hi all, got a big problem on 3 pedals, my new to me 79 911SC. The black anodizing is flaking and wearing thin down to the metal underneath on the trim. I only see 2 options.
1 remove the rest and how to do that?

2 Pull all the trim and get it redone.

As my budget is pretty much nil, any ideas or has someone run into this before?
I took pictures of it but being a dinosaur with computers I can't figure out how to attach to my post. And so it begins! Thanks in advance Kip

Anodizing doesn't flake off. It must be paint.

as empstein state
sand the trim and repaint it with trim black.

962 porsche another ??

962porsche, thank you for the reply on the the trim paint for the trim. I've gotten all the paint off the window trim. It is a very smooth surface now. Do I need to etch it to make the trim black to adhere to it or what would you suggest? Also, I have a few areas on the car that have surface rust starting and need to arrest it until full body work begins. Can I sand those areas down and spray epoxy primer to hold it at bay for awhile? Thank you, Kip

some trim paints do not require any primer under them. in fact if you do primer the pieces the trim paint will not stick.
this is not to say all trim paints are this way!
pick your desired trim paint gloss and all. see that there TDS states about needing a primer / sealer under it or not.
the TDS will also tell you what sanding grit cut or tooth is needed for there product to adhere.
