Oil stains on concrete
Hi everyone
![]() I have a 1973 Targa in Gemini Blue. It leaks oil. I have a few oil stains on the driveway now and in the garage. I've been using cardboard underneath the engine to catch and absorb the oil drippings. I found a few threads about how to clean the oil up but I'm looking for some ideas on: 1) a heavy duty mat that absorbs the oil for the driveway and/or a solution where such mat can be laid down and won't blow away. I read somewhere that double sided Alien tape does stick to concrete (?) 2) the same or similar mat that I can lay down in the garage that will absorb and also be ok to step on and won't track oil around. Cardboard with some sawdust works great but I'm looking to see if there is a better solution. Thanks in advance. -Joe |

Thanks - I was hoping to find something that absorbs the oil.

DryMate oil spill mat. I’ve purchased oil mats at auto stores as well. NeWPig has awesome stuff but large quantity and spendy. I use old cardboard all the time!
