Dupont #7 compound is no more.. now what?

Dupont no longer makes automotive products, wondering if all White #7 compounds are the same. want to compound the residual sanding marks from my hood after sanding with 2000 paper… I repaired chips

any recommendation would be helpful.

Meguiars and Menzerna both make excellent cutting compounds that can handle this type of work. I would take a look at their product lineup, read through the descriptions and choose the closest match to the Dupont product.

Meguirs 110 followed by 210 works for me. 3m also has excellent compounds. Buy some trizact sanding pads in 3000 grit on a da they work great.
