'86 Rear Spoiler Rubber

Anyone know of a fix for weathered rubber on a rear spoiler other than replacing?

Clean it first with dish soap and a soft brush or very fine 3M pad to remove oxidized rubber first. Use either Mother's Back to Black or 303 to soak for an hour or so. Wipe off excess with a clean towel, soak again, and let sit again for an hour. Repeat with a finish wipedown with a clean towel. It should have a satin finish, not look like a jelly donut.

Unfortunately, nothing's going to be able to bring old rubber back to new, but some treatments last longer than others. I usually just use 303 Aerospace UV Protectant on mine. It doesn't give a ton of shine like the Back to Black and similar products, but it does last longer and is supposed to provide good protection from UV radiation, hopefully preventing further degradation
