Mineral Spirits safe on primer?

goin to use mineral spirits on my primed bumper… some patches of scuff/ prepped paint as well. safe to use Mineral spirits to clean off any grease and fingerprints prior to painting?

you can at times use mineral spirits AKA paint thinner but it sure isn't the best cleaner for automotive refinishing work.
you could also use acetone at times. this also isn't always the best to use.
they could be at times ok to use before any work at all has begin.

if your looking for a low cost and easily accessible product to prep a part for primer or painting you could use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.
or even foaming spray way glass cleaner.
any and all products you would use you have to apply with a clean wet wipe down cloth and then wipe off with a clean dry cloth until it's 100% dry on the panel.
in no way do you let any of the product dry by it's self on the panel.
