wax on smile...Im not smiling! Help

I can not get the wax off the smile...Thats what happens when you are lazy!...should have taped it off fully..you can see where tape line is.

WHat can I use to gert it off? Tried mineral sprits, Armour all, wax grease remover Dawn soap and water...all with scrub brush.

Mine started to get stained from waxes and all sorts. I painted it with one of those tire black products.

SEM black trim.

I think there is a point when the plastic deteriorated and gets very porous

I heard that trick a few years ago to remove wax, I too laughed until I tried it!
Recently I was detailing a car I purchased with wax in all of the small joints with rubber seals all over the car! I tried it again, and just had to laugh at how effective it is! it takes essentially zero rubbing, and the wax just goes away!!! the original post is several years old, so not sure we will get a response. but I just felt like sharing
