If you have the original finish then yes, it looks a little beige-sh, but everything gets re-shot gray. Or sometimes black

This info from Wurth

Info shared with me from Wurth:

Thanks for the picture this will help me to get you just what you need! The coating shown in the picture should be a version of our Stoneguard. Our Stoneguard is available in 3 formats:

SKS Stoneguard: This is a waterbased formula that comes in 1 liter containers and is applied through a Schutz gun. If you are unfamiliar; a schutz gun is a tool that attaches directly to the bottle of SKS Stoneguard and uses air pressure to create a venturi to draw the product out of the bottle and spray it on the substrate you are coating. It is recommended that you run your air supply at about 60-65psi to get the desired texture. More air pressure will create a finer/smoother texture and less will create a rougher/more pebbled texture. It is recommended that you spray some test patterns on cardboard etc. to dial in just the texture you are looking for. You can also vary the texture somewhat by changing the distance between the gun and the substrate (the closer the smoother, the farther away the rougher). It really is easy with just a little practice! The SKS is available in black, grey, and beige which should match well for your application. Part number for the gun is 08911061 and for the beige SKS is 08900321. SKS is water based so you can clean guns and overspray (while still wet) with water. SKS is a version of the OEM equipment on many later model European cars (80’s on) and is used by most highend body shops all over the world.

Underbody Seal: this is also a body coating with similar results as the SKS but is a solvent based version. It is also applied through a schutz gun (art. 0891106840) but clean up must be performed with a solvent product such as a quality wax and grease remover or thinner. Underbody seal comes in the same three colors and the part number for the beige is 0892091. Underbody seal is the type of coating used on older European cars and is very popular with the restoration market for older Porsches, MB, BMW, Audi, etc. The final result will be similar to SKS but for those who are looking for historic accuracy sometimes prefer the Underbody Seal.

The final format is Stone Guard Spray: This is an aerosol version of the Underbody Seal and is much more convenient as there is no gun to buy and no gun to clean up after application. However, due to the very viscous nature of these types of body coatings it is impossible to match the rough texture found on Porsches etc. from an aerosol can. The part number for this product is 0890973.

If you are looking for accuracy I would recommend the SKS with Shutz gun though it is slightly more expensive than the Underbody Seal and naturally the aerosol Stoneguard Spray. I have attached a snapshot of the actual catalog page so you can better see all three choices. If you would like to order I would recommend calling our Automotive Division (I am in the Industrial Division) at 800-WURTH-USA. The Automotive Division can easily place an order that will ship to you from one of 5 Distribution Centers and get you your product in 2-3 days! You can shop the whole Wurth offering at www.wurthusa.com. You might also ask them about the OEM wheel paint, trim paint, body fasteners, adhesives, OEM hose clamps, and other small parts that are original equipment on your Porsche.

Good luck and feel free to respond if you have any questions. If you have industrial applications for fasteners, tools, MRO products please contact me.

Is the SKS Stoneguard with Shutz gun #08911 1063 or the Multi sprayer # 0981 110?

Wurth products are available from our host!!

Apparently there are two different guns. One for the regular Wurth and one for the mineral based Wurth.

Underbody Seal: this is also a body coating with similar results as the SKS but is a solvent based version. It is also applied through a schutz gun (art. 0891106840) but clean up must be performed with a solvent product such as a quality wax and grease remover or thinner.

Our host, although he carries some Wurth products, doesn't seem to carry the SKS Stoneguard. I haven't had luck with the Wurth website or customer service either as they say they only do wholesale. Someone please tell me I'm wrong. I did find a supplier here: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/.

They will bring it in if you want to buy a case?

I am going to try The " S " company to see if I can get just one can of Grey.

I have a Canadian supplier that I can get most of the other stuff but Grey is special order.

You might ask Islandmanpa he might be able to tell you your local supplier.

I was able to buy directly from Wurth, but I did by a case and the all purpose sprayer kit.. It worked very well and produced great results and I can use the sprayer to apply rust protectant.

I did a complete respray - underside, trunk and engine bay...

1st of 3 coats,
